The Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy Roleplaying Game Starter Set, more commonly known as the Red Box, is a boxed set in the 4th edition Essentials line of products, released in September 2010. The Red Box is designed for new players, and features the same art style and cover illustration as the 1983 revision of the Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set, which was also known as the Red Box.
